@JohnPhilpin In the abstract it's great. In the particulars of this case, I wish he would focus on creating truly new music (and less spoken word). I naturally incline toward covers and reimagining songs but these don't really resonate. For me, it's more interesting as a point of philosophical and consideration of career arcs and creativity than the music itself is.

@JohnPhilpin No venom here, but it just isn’t landing for me. Not even close. But a) I have a harder time separating art from artist when the artist is still alive, and b) it happens…not all music is for everyone and maybe this will open up to a future me.

@Mtt I have no idea. I'm just a happy user. If Raindrop had RSS feeds for tags---and the developer made clear he didn't plan to add that feature---I might have considered switching to raindrop.io, though I do prefer the fast and simple interface of Pinboard, after which all the rest seem over-developed. The archiving feature on Pinboard is broken, though, at least last time I checked!

@Mtt Pinboard's age is kind of beside the point if it does everything you need. And the Pinner third party app works fine on iOS anyway. That said, Raindrop seems to be the next best, though its lack of support for feeds in the places I wanted them made it a non-starter.

@devilgate I think Phil Woods on “Just the Way You Are” is also a few years too early…
